Brentford has signed Jayden Meghoma from West Brom for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with the Bees.

Meghoma is a product of the West Brom academy and has made two first-team appearances for the Baggies.

He has also represented England at Under-18 level.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank said: "We are delighted to welcome Jayden to Brentford.

"He is a talented young defender with a lot of potential.

"We believe he can be a valuable addition to our squad."

Meghoma is Brentford's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Aaron Hickey from Bologna.

The Bees are preparing for their second season in the Premier League and will be looking to improve on their 13th-place finish last season.
